prepare your Fishing Rods and Fishing Clothes, fill up your boast with gas because Sunday its coming

TOURNAMENT RULES:

1. Fishing in 2 sims: Flat Hammock and Plum Gut.
2. Time for fishing: 2 hours
3. Fishing with spinning method only.
4. Fishing from boat or from land.
5. Boats will be rez for fishers (can use own boat).
6. Dont fly.
7. Dont swimming.
8. Dont walk under the water.
9. Minimum distance boat from boat: 10m

Well what do you know, I had seen the notices coming thru on the Fisher Island YC group about this Wzw fishing, so recently I thought I go and see what it was about and the rest is history. After getting set up with a demo rod reel and lure, I casted out into the water at the Grand Mayan pier and it wasn't long when I got my first catch.

It was a Dorsz Cod that weighed 5.25kgs so it wasnt bad for somebody that fished in RL, but never in SL.

Today I was standing around watching some sailors race and seen where there was some fish biting, so out comes my rod and reel, I placed a Sealure 10cm 12 gr green and got my fishing boat out, wasn;t long when I gotten a bite and after a few minutes I brought out a Losos/ Salmon, weighing in at 8.250kg, a new WORLD RECORD!!

For me its shows that one can fish and not break a sweat and have fun doing so even in a virtual platform such as Second Life. Gotta tell ya its amazing that when you do hook a fish you can actually see the line being taken out and then trying to reel it in as you would in RL and then get your catch in to show to your friends and all. I recommend anyone who ever fished in RL, to give the WZW a good look as it does exactly as it would in RL, certainly time and money well spent. for a little bit of relaxaztion and fun.

INTERVIEW with Ad7siem Reanimator

WZW is an interesting simulator, which is quite real. You can feel like fishing in real life, organise competitions and have fun. It's sometimes frustrating when you fish with your friend in the same place, with the same method and same bait and you can catch nothing while your friend has a bait every 5seconds but that's just luck like in real and after all it's supposed to be real.

I have many good memories connected with WZW, many competitions which I won or at least stand on the podium.

What I would say to people who never tried is definitelly try, look what WZW is and what possibilities it offers and don't give up after first time and when you like, thank xec for creating it <giggle>

"I have been using the WZW fishing system for about 2 weeks now,  and i find it to be the most realistic fishing application that I have seen in 2nd Life.  I works very true to life and offers multiple poles and lures and baits for different applications of fishing, whether in the Sea or a Pond.  It does require a certain amount of patience and skill as does real life fishing. 

My favorite moment was landing  4.8kg Samlon, which is by no means the record size caught here but it's the biggest one I have caught

If you like to fish, and enjoy a RL experience doing it, I highly recommend it."

Another lesson  about  WZW Sea Fishing , where whe teach fishing useing diffrent methods that WZW offers, today  whe teached the spining  method and there was plenty of fish spread across  the pier.
